What happens to your information.

Short version: this site collects nothing unless you type it into a form, and what you type reaches one inbox and goes no further.

What is collected

Only what you choose to send. If you use the contact form, the newsletter form or the GuGu download form, the name and email address you enter, and any message, are stored by the form service and emailed to Ray at raygibsonhome@gmail.com.

The host keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser type, date and time, and which pages were requested. These are used to see whether the site is working and roughly how many people visit. They are not linked to you by name.

What it is used for

To reply to you. If you sign up for the newsletter, to send you occasional news about new work, new songs and shows. Nothing else. Your details are never sold, rented or passed to anyone for marketing.

Cookies

This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies of its own. Pages that embed a YouTube video or a Spotify player load content from those companies, and they may set their own cookies once you press play. Their privacy policies apply to that.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask for a copy of the personal data held about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, object to it being processed, or ask for it to be sent elsewhere. Email raygibsonhome@gmail.com and it will be dealt with within one month. Every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe.

Children

GuGu is a children's book, but this site is not aimed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under thirteen. If you believe a child has sent something through a form here, write to raygibsonhome@gmail.com and it will be removed.
