After the Droste effect, where a picture contains a smaller copy of itself, repeating inward without end. An imagined portrait, not a real photograph. It carries more than one meaning: a man who likes seeing himself, and a presence that keeps recurring however many setbacks arrive. It does not pass judgement. It says only that whatever happens, he will smile through it and stay at the seat of power.
